Before becoming a physician assistant, I worked as an athletic trainer for seven years. It was this experience that introduced me to the orthopaedic field and inspired me to be involved in patient care. As a physician assistant, I specialize in orthopaedics with a focus on shoulder and wrist injuries. I treat the whole arm (shoulder to fingers) with a special interest in shoulders and trauma. Common injuries I treat are rotator cuff injuries, shoulder arthritis, shoulder dislocations, and fractures of the shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers. I live in Apex with my husband, Paul, and our dogs. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, baking, and spending time outdoors.
