I am a recent transplant to North Carolina from the Pacific Northwest, raised on a blueberry farm outside of Eugene, OR. I rowed crew in high school and received scholarship to do the same through college while I earned a Bachelor of Science at Oklahoma City University. Following that and two years overseas in Sierra Leone with the United States Peace Corps I returned to the US and graduated from Oregon Health and Science University’s Physician Assistant program in 2017. I have specialized in Orthopedics since that time with a focus on total joint replacements.
The honest relationships in medicine and the impactful treatments offered in the field of Orthopedics attracted me to this profession and I look forward to practicing primarily with Dr. Schwartz in adult reconstructive surgeries.
I have already found many things to appreciate about the Triangle and am enjoying getting to know a new community. I’m fortunate I get to experience it all with my dog Kuru, cat Truck, and a brilliant partner that will sacrifice her nights to watch all things Tolkien related with me.
