I am originally from a very small town in western Massachusetts, Montague Center, and moved to North Carolina in 2013. Unfortunately or fortunately, I do not have the typical New England accent.

I completed my undergraduate nursing studies at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire and then my nurse practitioner degree at Maryville University graduating with highest honors and earning Presidents Awards for academic excellence.

I will be working alongside Dr. Klifto now and his team as a nurse practitioner treating orthopedic conditions that affect the elbow and shoulder.

I was inspired to become a nurse practitioner by my mother who always preached to me to pursue a career where I believed that the work I did made a difference. I enjoy developing relationships with patients. It is about meeting a patient wherever they are at with their health and together forming a plan to get back to a place where they are participating in their lives to the fullest.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors and I am a fairly avid runner having run many half marathons and marathons. I have a passion for cooking and baking and hosting friends and family. My boyfriend and I have a wirehaired pointer mix, Hawkeye, who always keeps us on our toes with his endless energy.
